Hello, I present my first What if this year's model.  <_<

It´s special lightweighted version of Spitfire Mk.14 with long range, which was used for escort of american bomb unions over Germany.
Due to possibility of carry external fuel tanks had Spitfires 14LR removed machine-guns and had locally firmed wings. The armament of two 20 mm canons Hispano had enlarged supply of ammo on 200 round/barrel.
This version was used by 332th Fighther Group - Tuskegee Airmen and also by some RAF squadrons. Displayed plane was flown by 1st Lt. Spurgeon Ellington.

I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Now THAT is a thing of beauty to be sure! Well done indeed.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Brilliant concept and excellent finish.  This is a most impressive model.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I'm not being unduly hyperbolic but that's spectacular!! Beautiful finish

I love this plane. The finish, the colors, the art all are just spot on.
