? Could easily go pear-shaped so please don't expect miracles.

I think I'm going through a seaplane thing. Built a Catalina Ekranoplan some years ago....might revisit that area.

The propeller/spinner is a temporary fit....will be five-bladed.

Sadly not. I built it during one of my long battles with the "Black Dog" and broke it up shortly after (my son still hasn't forgiven me as he wanted it)...part of a creator/destroyer dark mindset I was in. Fear not as I intend to rebuild...it was great fun. Will post an update photo soon...gone over to a twin mainfloat as I was deeply unhappy with the single float concept....probably would have sunk.

Here we go...frees up the mainplane for some ordnance. This is based on the P-38M with rear cockpit. Observer will have a periscope ( a la a-26 Invader) for aiming the rear stinger behind the engine. I think It's mainly a scout/recon/torp concept giving the pilot and observer a clearer view.

The floats are from a Seiran and the engine cowling from a P-51A...other bits courtesy of the spares box.
