ah, thanks a lot for the appreciation 
my assymetric Mustang has less balanced floats than this P-38,
which is even greater with the Droop nose indeed, especially doubles-up with the twin seat :
does that make a three-crew P-38?

Pilot, observer and gunner....I was going to delete the rear gunner and his remote barbette but I can't....like it too much.

So many ideas for the Mustang now.... .

I like the plan for the pushmepullyou flying ring. I have a rotodome from a defunct Hawkeye that might just work .

it seems do-able with some BV138 models, but with quite a lot of skills ...

And a lot of time too.

I've been working on the Bv-138 PIII planned asymmetric prototype for 2-3 YEARS now and it's hard work. One day............

That is a plane I long for in 1/48....I think you need a mortgage for the MPM(?) kit...come on Airfix, take a break from British thoroughbreds for awhile and steal a lead on our Chinese friends .

POA = Patrol Observation Attack.

After the fossa I agreed the cluster bombs looked too much like short range torpedoes so I've swapped them over (the Fossa has some smaller bombs now).

Going to have to redo the decals 'cos I've completely forgotten to varnish first...what a mogwai .
