i was thinking of calling in Tophe, one body with the normal Airforce crew and then anouther with the Navy in it,  of corse the gun breeches would have to be handed for the turrets so some would be built with the gun on the left and some on the right

Don't be so silly. Beam weapons would be rubbish for shore bombardment, because they are line-of-sight only.
