i was thinking of calling in Tophe, one body with the normal Airforce crew and then anouther with the Navy in it,  of corse the gun breeches would have to be handed for the turrets so some would be built with the gun on the left and some on the right

take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.

You could install another one in the nose..........  ;)

youd need longer wings  ;)

If Kit's involved, you automatically assume longer wings!   One of these days he's going to do a stub-winged U-2  and confuse us all!

That goes without saying.............................almost.  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

At the risk of being thought  pedantic and boring,  what weight are we talking about for a colony class triple turret?

According to NavWeaps, 161 tons.

So we'll have to stick with the one turret. With the longer wings we can also fit more engines .

Nah, fit VERY long wings, LOTS of engines and we can have both turrets.  ;D

Don't be so silly. Beam weapons would be rubbish for shore bombardment, because they are line-of-sight only. ;D
