apart from the shckleton and bear what else has at least 3 engines and used contra rotating props?

i want 3 sets of props in 1/72 scale as cheap as possible and buying a cheap kit might well be my best option

Tu-126, An-22, Short Sturgeon, but only 2. At one time, Aeroclub made white metal c/r props for bot the Seafire and Shack. Shacks can be had on eBay fairly cheaply. I'd rule out any of the big ones, like the Tu-95, 126 and An-22 except for the old Contrail vacs of the Tupolevs. I think they go fairly cheaply on eBay now. I've bought several Shacks on eBay for the props and that worked out fairly inexpensively.

If you just want props, and I am unsure what size you want, but you can pick up Gannets pretty cheap, but of course you have to use 3 kits. Not sure if you need nacelles as well.   20+ Gannets in stock at Hannants in the UK.   http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/RV4397

Colin (Freightdog862) of Freighdog models did (or was planning) a resin contraprop set for the Seafire IIRC.  Drop him a PM, he might be able to help you.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Knowing what diameter you're looking for might help, as all the props mentioned range from about 11'-0" to 17'-0"

size isnt critical i can always chop them up if theyr too big.
its for my triengined spitfire thing (think p38 on acid)

Freightdog then, he's got just the right thing for it.

Let me know how you get on with the contra props from Freightdog, as I would like some to keep in stock for future builds.
Cheers

The Wooksta!

Then put it to one side and wait until you do get one.

And I advised you where to get Spitfire contraprops from weeks ago.

There's the VEB Plasticart/Playfix 1:100 Tu-20 kit around, with four four-bladed contraprops. It comes pretty cheap (check ebay, even overseas.

Aeroclub Shackleton props? My bumper list of crap says I have a set, I'll have a look if you're interested. Alternatively, and probably easier to locate, It says I've two Novo Shackletons if they're of interest.
Edit Found all but the Shackletons appear to be from some ancient space aliens.
