Here is my 1/48 scale Me 410 built from the Monogram ProModeler kit.

The model was built O.O.B. and painted with Model Master enamel paints, Aeromaster decals were used instead of the kit decals.
I put my model in the markings of the Me 410 flown by Lieutenant Hans Venkman (the grandfather of the paranormal investigator Dr. Peter Venkman)

The markings are what make this model a what-if, Aeromaster somehow made a mistake when reading the markings in a photograph of a Me 410 and thought it read 3U+AA but there really was no such Me 410 in those markings...Errormaster strikes again. ;D

Always had a liking for the 210/410 - very sleek looking aircraft.  Nicely done!

One of the only German a/c I like, and beautifully rendered :o . Always thought that if you took out the high altitude equipment and armoured up the front it would have made a great anti-tank plane; more survivable than the HS129??

Many thanks for the comments! ;D

Librarian,
I also think the Me 410 would have made for a good tank killer.
Do a search in this forum for my Me 310 ground attack aircraft that I made a few years ago, this what-if is based on a Me 410 but looks a lot different.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks NARSES2!

My two Me 262 what-ifs will also be finished soon, pics might be posted early next week.

Nice pix too. How do you manage the background? It looks so real.

Thanks for looking Michel!

In the pics of my Me 410 I used three different backdrops, two of them I airbrushed myself and the third was a backdrop I bought that was intended to be used with model RR layouts.
The base is a piece of plywood that was covered with model RR static grass. No matter what backdrops or bases are used they really mean very little for the quality of the images, lighting is the most important thing in getting good pictures of the models and I have found outdoor lighting to be unbeatable.
