Not really got into it yet, but the track cycling and athletics start over the weekend, so I might get into it a bit more.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Sorry mate, didn't see your question.
That was for two months.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Ouch! My commiserations, especially when what I pay is for both electricity and heating gas.

Getting my bathroom finished off today as I hired a tiler to put the last times up and to sort out the grouting on the tiles that I had previously done myself. I have just got back from a very well-known D.I.Y. chain after buying more tile strips that have a black square rotated at 45o to make a diamond sort of shape and a black stripe along the tops and bottoms of the strops of tiles, with white triangles in between the black tiles. Now you would think that if I put a centre line from some existing tile strips for where I want the pattern to continue. Now, this fellow decided not to do that so I have the large vertical surface of a half-black diamond against the point of another black diamond  :banghead:  :banghead:
It was bad enough that he didn't want to follow the pattern of full and half tiles onto this end wall. He did convince me about his reason and it looks ok, the pattern though stands out a mile!

EDIT!

Thought that a picture is worth a thousand words, or so they say so here is what I am talking about.

I think that is pretty self-explanatory, don't you?

It should be the two-rule system.

Rule 1) The Customer is always right

Rule 2) If the Customer is wrong, Rule One applies.

The tiler arrived this morning and when I pointed out that the pattern on the section he had done didn't follow the pattern I had put up a couple of years ago he was ok in changing them. And I had a partly sleepless night worrying about it  :banghead:

Problem is the women of this planet have already copywrited that rule as :-

Rule 1) The Wife/Fiance/Partner/Girlfriend is always right

Rule 2) If the Wife/Fiance/Partner/Girlfriend is wrong then Rule One applies.

I would opine he's asking for trouble with that many, and he's making (or made) a rod for his own back... ;)

And Chris - I'm not sure that's really satire; rather an Unwritten Truth... and yet another one we can't do anything to alter :banghead:
