Does anyone know of a model show in the UK that would usually be on the first Saturday of March?

Asking so that I can get out of going to a wedding on the 6th of March next year, it's been postponed from November this year when it clashed with Telford.

We could always plan one..............  ;D ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

East of England Model Show - The Peterborough Show - is normally on around first weekend in March

I have an idea which at the moment requires the help of my fellow whiffers. I plan to do something to an Italeri  Wessex Hu.5. I am sure I have one in my stash but I can't get to it at the moment so need to know if the basic difference between the HU5 kit and the HAS 3 kit is the Nose as well as the Anti Submarine kit. If so I can start on my conversion and swap parts between kits when I have access to the HU5 as I can access an HAS 3 meaning I can start right away.

Managed to answer the question I posted yesterday by myself with a visit to Scalemates which showed the kits were esentialy the same with different noses etc.

Decided to look for a couple of the kits anyway and leave the HAS3's in their boxes to be used esentially streight from the box.

Not been doing much other than pottering around trying to develop ideas for one of my currant builds.  So to help with this I am going to be looking for either 1/72 scale Stage lighting or scale drawings of stage lighting, and you lot will just have to wrack your brains to try and figure out what the heck I am up to.
Also just won my second 1/48 Tamyia Dambuster, one I already have and is wrapped up for the other half who wanted to build one and with it being her Birthday on Wednesday I previously managed to get hold of one. Today's purchase is so I can build the same thing at the same time as she does so that I can find and help out with problems as we go with the build. She also wanted the large Revell London Bus which is waiting at my parents, the other things she wanted, A live Dragon, Unicorn and a real live Penguin, will have to wait especially as I am sure the local zoo's count their Penguins es and a chocolate biscuit is out of the question

I guess that it is just a small production you are planning to stage.

A little search on the web enabled me to find that the Telford show next year will be the 13th and 14th of November

That's right. It's Remembrance Weekend for the next couple of years at least.
