Is dash cam footage admissible in court?

Good luck.  There are too many idiots on the road, the more that can be removed the better.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I'm not going to be activly hunting anyone, it's more for self protection and helpful information for police if I see an accident and catch it on camera.

There is also the handy feature that there is a motion sensor fitted into the camera so if the car is bumped when I am not in it it starts recording automatically.

I got a dash cam a couple years ago and I have captured some interesting stuff including a crazed chain wielding madman at a car wash that came at me and nearly got himself aerated. People straight up walking out in front of me while at speed, a rear-end fender bender, and a few other oddball things.

I should probably have a go-pro mounted on my bicycle helmet so they can identify the motorist responsible for my death.
I had another one trying to kill me yesterday.
In a car parking area, a stationary VW (very commonly badly driven cars VWs) indicating right.  As I was passing it on the left on my e-bike the driver got fed up with waiting and deciding to go straight on floored it without checking it was clear, squealed the tyres and narrowly missed me.]
Only the fact I was wearing Australian Post uniform prevented me from giving her a barrage of verbal abuse.

That's nuts. I'd be in a constant state of anxiety in that situation. A few months back I had my truck in for water pump replacement and used an electric scooter to get around town and the whole time I was scared some jackass would flatten me.

<...>

Recently read about a cyclist who swears motorists are no longer quite as hell-bent on killing him ever since he's started using a go-pro on his helmet.  Apparently being a richard towards others is less fun when you might be caught on video.  ;D

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Had my first Covid jab yesterday evening. No problems though there was a discussion between the nurse and a Dr about if I should get the jab due to how recent my having Covid was.

The Wooksta!

I had my first one last Wednesday and felt like crap the following day - headache, nausea, vertigo, and me arm knacked.

The Brexit/Covid trade problems have just struck!
Making a comment on Dizzyfugu's Navalised Hawk 200 build had me searching Scalemates to see if there was an update set or an actual model of the T-45C which has different wing tips and some other detail changes. Yes there is! Wolfpack make one apparently, they also do a few other full kits as well so I thought that I may as well get one. Checked Hannants as I know they do Wolfpack, only the Buckeye in Greek service available through them so it's back to the links on Scalemates.
Did you know that SprueBros is not shipping to the UK? I didn't until today. Germany!, I thought that would be a safe place to get goods from, wrong, the UK was not on their list of countries either  :banghead:
Eventually I managed to place an order from Poland! So what could have been only a few minutes turned into about half an hour trying to order one kit! I think I need a lay down after that, certainly another mug of tea!

I think we all need to do that on occasion  :-\
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

First day back at work today after being off sick with Covid to start with followed by a chest infection. A nice quiet half day to start off with. Looked as if there was some progress with some things at work which is positive.

Some sort of a silver lining anyway Alastair.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit
