I should have posted earlier or maybe on the thread about the sad loss of Mr Cryer.

I remember first seeing him in the late 70's or early 80's on a panel game. Then in the outtakes for one of Kenny Everett's series that was on Thames.

I have only watched one or possibly two episodes of the ISIHAC radio show, which stands for "I'm Sorry, I Haven't A Clue" which also had Tim-Broke Taylor and Grahame Gardener in it.
One of the games they played on the show was called Mornington Crescent which is a Station on the London Underground network. There were no rules other than each player had to name a Station that no one else had said, if you ran out of ideas you said Mornington Crescent which ended the game which is why several of us here rather than giving our names have used station names instead.

Lots of laughs over a lot of time for a very well liked and respected man.

Colin's Super Hunter wings go very well with the tandem two-seater nose, the extra length in both parts seem to compliment each other.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

One of the things that has popped up over the last few days has been Span, and not in my emails though I did get one supposedly from Paypal which looked very good but was ridiculous in saying that the Pay in Three method was no longer working please follow the link.... errr nope. Not as poor a fake as the one that was addressed to me, hence it being in my inbox, but the addressee was not the email address it was sent to.  ;D How stupid do some people think some of us are?

Amyway, back to the Spam. I found Spam fritters in my local Farmfoods today so I duly picked up a box, that's for tea tonight along with chips and beans I think... yummmm.

I was getting fed up not knowing anything about any possible appointment to see about my cataracts. So while phoning my Dr about another problem I asked if he could help and subsequently received a phone number to call for Patient Focused Booking. They then gave me a phone number to call for the eye clinic who were able to tell me that they had received my referral back in October. They also told me that they are currently seeing people who were referred in May last year, that's nine months between referral and appointment  :o so going by those dates I should receive an appointment for June at the earliest. The main thing is that I know that I am on the list to be seen and I have a rough idea of when I will be seen.
So that is a bit of a weight off my shoulders even though it means that I have to wait until June just to be seen, how long I need to wait afterwards to get an operation is another guess but it should not be as long, I hope.

...they just get elected.

Good news on the appointment.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Indeed. I need to talk to my Doc/Optician about mine

The June date is a guestimate based on the information about which month they are seeing at the moment. At least I can contact my insurance and let them know that bit of information. Hopefully everything will be done by this time next year   ..... he said not holding his breath

It would be nice to think that you'd be sorted by this time next year...............but please don't even think of holding your breath until things happen.................you would be a pretty shade of dark red (somewhere round about RLM 28)  by the time that occurs

So because I got a bonus this year, must be doing something right at work though I don't know what  :-\ I have been splurging and buying the odd item or three. I can't add the next item in any usual place because I have yet to watch the film that just arrived today. Purchased because of who was cast in it than for any other reason, although I don't remember watching it all the way through when it was on TV last. I talk about the querky film "The Bed Sitting Room". No idea when I will get to watch it, I will probably watch the other film I am waiting on of Procul Harum Live in Copenhagen. The Film is dated 2006 but was recorded in 2005 by a local TV station. The live version of "Whiter Shade of Pale" complete with an orchestra is outstanding.

Well that's the first of at least two trips to the dentist done. Cleaning up and some fillings carried out. When I arrived home I found that my neighbour had received another parcel for me containing a Silver Cloud Supersonic Hunter conversion set. This means that I now have two copies of this set, one will be as intended for a single seater and the second will become a two seater which seems to be a reasonable thing to do with it.
Other kit's received recently are three of the new KP Hawker Tempest, one Mk.V and two Mk.VI's. One of the VI's will become a naval aircraft based on the Mk.II which can be built from the bits in the box, folding wings to be scribed catapult hooks and a tail hook will also be fitted and Korean war marking added. It should look enough like a Sea Fury to confuse a few punters at shows as well as giving me engines from the V and VI versions as spares as they are also in the box. This in turn means that with another kit, on order, I will have four engines available to go onto a Revell Lancaster to replace the Merlin's. As both engine types have chine radiators it will be another build to see how observant the public are.

While enjoying an unexpected day off due to the latest storm which has shut the Rail network this afternoon, and which I only found out about on the way home last night, I looked for video's or audio files about the ISIHAC because Kit didn't know the game and because I enjoy the game. Anyway, I found this example where the panel where given sat-navs to help them navigate the game. Enjoy...
