I also have a Hire car booked over the weekend so fully intend to be there to help set up on the Friday.

I will be there ;D

Most likely from mid afternoon on the Friday. All depends on what time of the morning I leave home.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

I am guessing that we will have our usual tables in the usual places

Some What-If's seen on other tables, mainly the Swedish SIG and probably because the Swedish Aircraft Industry has produced some "different" looking aircraft over the years that they lean towards such modelling...

And until I download the pictures from my cameras two more Whiffs one of which PR19kit will like

That's all the pictures I took on Saturday, more later from Sunday

What a cracking display you guys put on, well done indeed!

I see the 'Wessex Fleet' made another appearance, and I recognise some of JayBee's output on there, the Twin Vampire and the Skean Dhu amongst them. Some of those Swedish Whiff's are truly superb, and 'WAY out in left field' as our American cousins say.

That long spanned Tornado won the Gold Medal in the Whiff class at Telford Last year, and very good it is too, although it would have been easier, and more impressive, in 1/72 to my mind.

I really must try and get up to Perth one year, maybe 2014 would be a good target.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Howard of Effingham

thanks gondor!

that canard SA bulldog i do like.... just where the heck did he put all that nose weight? or is there a tail prop i can't see?
Keeper of George the Cat.

NARSES2

Cheers for those Alistair  Well done gents, great display
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

......and it took the Scottish What If trophy this year as well. An absolutely cracking little model it is too.

Alle kunst ist umsunst wenn ein engel auf das zundloch brunzt!!

Sic biscuitus disintegratum!

Cats are not real.
They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

Hear are some of the pictures I took on Sunday, mainly from the Competition area but some from other parts of the show.

The first two pictures are of a PAPER model

Talking about paper..... here is a picture of the Card I organised for OGL's Birthday even if it was a week late I did get it signed by all the members that were there.

Two What-ifs from the Competition area which includes a better picture of the Tempest

Some more pictures from the Swedish SIG display

A few other items that took my fancy

Sorry about the quality of some pictures, I am getting used to a new camera.

Whose was that locomotive in the SIG display?

It's BRILL, Blue Pullman cabs grafted onto a Class 37 or a Deltic centre body and all done in BR green with yellow ends, pure genius!
