OK i know its been a while but the battery charger for the camera failed so i had to get new one
quite of bit of work done now and its taking a day to place each sail with all its rigging
most defiantly the hardest build i have ever done

decided the look of the diorama for the ship, and because its me, its got to be a bit out of the ordinary, so it based on this scene in pirates 3



so here is the first fit on the base made from polystyrene with a sand paper covering to give a base to add more sand as required

hello Lenny

    just wanted to say what a nice job you've done so far!   the diorama idea is so cool.......I love the pirate's series, Johnny Depp is one of my favorites.  he was so cool in Edward scissorhands!   your weathering technique is really good....the ship's boat is what got me......as well as the sails   {I'm not much of a weather person}

fantastic stuff........can't wait to see what you do next!
