Back story

1918
Armistice.  Germany surrenders.  The Treaty of Versailles imposes harsh recompense on Germany.
The full horror of the loss of life on the Western Front is made public.  The British people are outraged and opinion sways the Government to declare that from 1919 onwards, the United Kingdom will be neutral in all further conflicts that do not affect its own Empire.

1933
Adolf Hitler comes to power in Germany

1936
The fledgling Luftwaffe cuts its teeth in the Spanish civil war.
The Supermarine Spitfire flies for the first time

1939
Germany invades Poland.  France, Poland's ally declares war.
The Spitfire enters service

1940
France is defeated.  Germany has free reign over most of Europe and part of Africa.

1941
Japan attacks Pearl Harbour.  Due to bad weather, the attack takes place on the 8 Dec, when the US aircraft carriers are in port. All are destroyed.  America declares war on Japan.  Things do not go well for the USA.

1942
Germany invades Russia
German forces make it as far as Moscow, completely cutting it off. Along with Leningrad and Stalingrad, it is bombed continuously. 
Japanese submarines wait in ambush of the US Navy's Atlantic fleet steaming thru the Panama Canal and sink most of it.
Japan increases it's foothold on the Pacific.  America is forced to withdraw to rebuild its Navy.

1943
The first practical military jet aircraft is flown, the Me262.  It proves to be a huge success with the Luftwaffe pilots, especially on the hard fought Russian front.
The RAF is equipped with the latest Spitfire, the Mk3, armed with cannons.


1944
Britain introduces its first operational jet fighter, the Gloster Thunderbolt (the name was changed in the original timeline as the P-47 existed)
Shortly afterwards the De-Havilland Vampire enters service.
Germany develops the Atomic bomb.  The first prototype is used against Moscow.  Stalin is killed. Russia surrenders.
Despite neutrality, there is outrage at the thought of this weapon being used, so a secret commando raid is planned by British forces, followed up by a heavy bombing attack.  The plant is completely destroyed, along with Germany's heavy water production facility.  Germany has no way to manufacture any more A-bombs.
Unfortunately, most of the bomber force is destroyed by Me262s, leading Hitler to be enraged and declaring war on the UK.
The Battle of Britain follows, but this time, the main aircraft involved are Thunderbolts, Vampires and Me-262s. 
Germany breaks the sound barrier and, using this new found technology, develops faster fighters.  Britain has nothing to combat this, but, several Russian scientists and arms designers who fled Russia prior to its surrender are working on new designs along with British aircraft manufacturers, who had been working on their own supersonic research aircraft before the war.
With things starting to look bleak for Britain, the Miles Peregrine enters service.

The RAF colors suit the MIg-15 nicely - but IMHO it still looks a lot like the original? Nice idea, though.

That's because there isn't much that needs changing. It already had a RR engine, so all that needs to be different is the armament.  In this case a 40mm cannon and 2 20 mm

Nice build. Especially the camo colours...they look spot on. And it does look a natural in RAF markings !?
