The building has been a bit shaky on this one, partly because the bottle plastic is not easy to work with, and glues dont't stick too well, and I work with very basic tools and skills.
But as I sometimes say, if anyone out here with better skills than mine wants to make a follow up or a cover version (event with non primary colors ;) ) please do so, I would be honored, and pleased as well.

One thing you might consider for future bottle projects is to drill holes in the plastic bottle, put wires or rods through them from one side to the other, and then superglue the kit parts to the wires. That way the load-bearing connection between the bottle and the kit parts is mechanical rather than chemical.

Love the Triane!  ;D

That needs putting in a diorama with a bunch of suitcase-carrying 1950s civvies waiting patiently to walk up a REALLY tall air-stairs truck... ;) ;D

Hysterical laughter here at the PR19 Hangar!

Imagine the guys at AiM's looks when you place an order for TWENTY sets of airstairs!  :o ;D

thanks for your appreciation : it encourages me to go even further and higher  ;D

the air-stairs truck better be an escalator, for not too sportive passengers ...

If someone would prefer a more "convincing" livery, it imagine doing this a bit like in 2001 Space Odyssey, with a PanAm style ...

I had parts left from an Ar196 (the floats were used elsewhere), and a nice small can of Coke, and the fit looked nice, scalewise at least ; and I also had these wheels in spats, most probably from a Ar 95 (wheeled version), so here it goes :

Excellent.
If you made one with a full can and shook it up enough it could really fly...

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

that's an interesting view at propulsion indeed  ;)

but I tried another configuration with a Noorduyn Norseman, where it would be more about spraying the land :

You're about as fast building your hybrids as Dizzy is doing his stuff!  :o

I had a few in the background actually, I don't post them as soon as they are done.
And those are not very long to build either  ;D

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

and now for a different kind of foam :

champagne!

with Supersabre wings, as in the other examples before

(well, kind of, actually a plastic fake champagne bottle, but the right size and scale)

Cheers!

indeed it would propel much more than the coke even  ;D

but the direction woud be backwards ...

which brings me back to an old topic, where I explored the musical crossing of a Chengdu F-7E and a flute

http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,38180.0.html

and one comment was that it was reversed w.r.t. airflow in the flute ...

So I had a new try, with another flute, and a 1/125 Heller B727 which has just the right length and quite the same diameter :
