Hmmmmm, you could have pivots at the top of the struts so the upper wing tilted and the lower one stayed fixed...........  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

how about a super-low speed version :

Or would it be better to have the upper one fixed and the lower one variable?

Or maybe they could be operated differentially as an airbrake. The effect on the shock fronts at supersonic speeds would be
Cheers.

Here ya go, bud. I have no info about it, however.

Oh wait! It says "Project Mgr Ron Sprigge" on it so that's a little bit of info at least.

remainings of the day (and stash reduction)

part of a rat, head of an Egg H300, and chassis of a buggy (motorized! which is not visible here)

Tophe

Rats have a bad reputation (of being ugly or something) while this one is cute, according to me... ;D

That's impressively close to how a rat skull actually looks like.  :o

you may have seen this picture already (by M.C. Escher) :

and I have in my stash a lot (relatively huge lot) of very cheap kits of 1/144 Viscounts :

PR19_Kit

I bet the guys at S&M Models LOVED you ericr!

What a brilliant idea, and only really feasible in 1/144. In 1/72 you'd need a new HOUSE for it!  :o

Damn, that is brilliant!!! I could see that being a rather large sculpture in an airport or corporate office or something for an airliner, perhaps in bronze.
