Thanks !

apart from engines and engine pods (coming maybe from a B52?), the rest is the original flying wing kit, simply.

But where do the rear nacelle & related oddities come from?

They're part of the B-49 kit, or they're in mine anyway.

That's one AWESOME build Ericr.

I had to make an add-on here, obviously :
a 1/48 ASMP (from Heller's Mirage IV P)

 Great! Even more "piloted missile" than the F-104 Starfighter! ;D

Oh, my! France's answer to the X-15 rocket plane!
I wonder if it might look better with a couple of stub wings?
Cheers.

That works REMARKABLY well.

It's a good thing the Luftwaffe didn't have them in 1940, the Hurricanes and Spitfires wouldn't have been able to catch them!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

My thought too. It looks a real speed machine.
Cheers.
