The red one looks almost normal.  :o
I think it is not a normal P-51 Mustang but a half P-82 (half-twin-Mustang).
It is not the very first one ever, as a plastic scale model, but this is very rare, not "normal" ;) ;D

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Very good,  And it's giving me ideas about some of the bigger kits in my stash which might benefit from being tricycled.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Take the turret off and you've got  Martin 1-0-1 airliner.

Which I thought of ages ago, but you've actually DONE it!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Thats great Eric.

Put that in a show and people would be looking at it scratching their heads and trying to remember if the "real" Baltimore was a trike or a tail dragger.

Got any Hampdens in your stash?
;)
