Are you sure that isn't a real world SAI Marchetti something or other ?  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Even without the subtle wing & tail swap, re-engining Ju 52 to use Cyclones or Twin Wasps would have made sense in wartime Germany, as those engines as well as their spare parts were probably in better supply than the originals, courtesy of all the shot-down B-17's and B-24's. ;)

Both look good

What's the glazed nose section from on the Junkers twin?

That looks remarkably like a RW Boeing project that eventually ended up with the 707.

JCF will undoubtedly be able to give us chapter and verse on that.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I knew that the wing of the Boeing 707 would work on the C-97, I even tried using the wings from the Airfix BAe Nimrod and the Lockheed EC-121 which was switched over to create the Lockheed Starliner or I tried.
Great work
