indeed !  ;D

thanks for the reference, I don't think I knew this one

PR19_Kit

It's a sort of Russian U-2, NATO code name Mandrake.

A Model does a 1/72 kit of one, which I have, naturally.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Love these, especially the Thunderbroke  ;D

It's surprising how good some of these combos look despite how outrageously unlikely they are. You have a good eye, Ericr!

If Republic had built the U2 (and then added piston engines).

I actually considered that for the Recce GB (minus the piston engines) but baulked at the prospect of siamesing the F-105 intakes into the U-2ish wing.

thanks ! this is exactly what I like to obtain  ;D

this fifth out of five is a case showing that it is sometimes risky : I thought it would not look as good as the others (while still being of course  outrageously unlikely), because of the wings too big for the fuselage, but in the end it is quite ok to me  ;)

plus : I like to make cycles, and this one it closes it as in a merry go-round

Today I rescued the remains of a rubber chicken from my dog.  She has chewed out the squeaker and eaten one leg but the head is intact and will be getting grafted onto the front of something from the stash as a homage to your vision Eric.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I have a few plans involving heads and legs of animals (and even humans ...) coming out soon

ok for me also: far "too big" for Real World is "perfectly weird" for Whif World ;)
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

That one would have so much lift that it'd probably take off in less than a fuselage length!  :o

Twin Pioneer, eat your heart out!

Indeed but imagine the fuel it could carry ?  ;)

I can see it being fitted with that top wing purely for operations in extremely hot and high conditions
