I've got that Skymaster laying in to back of a drawer all busted up waiting for a resurrection. This is a brilliant idea I'll have investigate further. I don't have the helicopter parts so this would require a rummage through the spares.

Abrams had a couple of unbuilt designs that were to have cylindrical pressurized fuselages.
The P-3 was for a military aircraft, the PC-4 was to be a high-altitude civil survey aircraft.

The dome noses are cool.  ;D
A similar fuselage under the Skymaster wings would be fun.

Very cool Eric.

The Abrams has long been a favourite.

Another machine with a similar fwd fuselage was the Pitcairn PA-44/XO-61.

Thanks jon, I did not know the PC-4. To be even more whif, I am countering the torque of the single propeller. But this is not easy in plastic.

Glad you like it Tophe.
BTW the images on Secret Projects were posted by me.  ;)
I scanned them from an issue of Skyways magazine and
they're original Abrams drawings.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

McColm

I think that I have seen something similar in the Real World.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

 ;D

ah I just used a 1/48 Kyofu float for something else !

Tophe

Good teasing, we are trying to imagine what new whif marvel will have this single float ;D
