one more banana, maybe the last? this time it deserves its name fully :
I bought especially a 1/72 H_21 fying banana from HobbyCraft, and used the rotors and wheels here
(the rest is under use in another project to be seen soon  ;) )

Tophe

It is amazing: the flying banana H-21 was actually a banana! a true one: red, normal!
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

TheChronicOne

Who knew the "Chi" in "Chinook" was actually from Chiquita banannas?!  ;D  (I know it's not a Chinook but then the crappy joke wouldn't have worked...  lol )

Quite glorious!  The Simians will be pleased, I'm sure.

Hmmm, what's that blue/grey thing in the background? It has VERY long wings......  ;D

It looks like a U-2 winged F-104.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

exploring possible declinations of an idea is fun in itself  ;)

in the series of propellers windmills hybrid animals,
I just had to try the push-pull twin-propeller :
the liliensternus seemed an appropriate candidate
for this peculiar evolutionary possibility :

Tophe

I thought the push-pull layout was an invention of the 20th century, but obviously Mother Nature created it millions of years ago...
