with all these Buccanneer-based stuff shown before, I had a fuselage left, and I also had in my stash a funny small fishing rod : hence this fishy combination :

I think that takes the record for the longest model ever shown on here.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

and sorry about the naught length of the wings  ;D

Lovely idea.

What species of fish? The bait was obviously one of J W Dunne's designs - he of the first swept-wing aircraft - from his book Sunshine and the Dry Fly.
Cheers.

Tophe

Very funny!
But... I hope you belong to the few fishermen not killing the fish (poor buccanish...) but letting it free after the joy of catching it, do you?
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

Ha!!! Flippin' brilliant!!       This is glorious..  It could even be a "Tampa Bay Buccaneer" if it were a fish taken from that area!   (American Football team in Florida).  This is some great stuff, dude.

Glad you liked the Pachy-Helo. I saw another animal aircraft mash up last night too and set it aside to show you...   It's a friggin crab tank..

Not the normal fair but I figured I'd snag it anyway because things like this are great for inspiration!

and also for the crab : I will think of it  ;D

I discovered the existence of this recently, apparently a not so rare exercise in 1/1 whiffing of french classic cars (2cv and "Traction")

and in my stash I had one of each in 1/43 by Heller ...

so here is one way, in red :

and the other way, blue :

Tophe

Very lovely Citroen compounds... (usually I like only airplanes/seaplanes but here I clap my hands anyway) ;)
