It seems this is just a flying fish, but oh... so different! :wub:
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

TheChronicOne

It transitions into a huge blimp from time to time, but don't fly too close!

NARSES2

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

some time ago I was proposed this image as an inspiration :

and I finally came up with this, using a 1/144 Tomcat nose :

PR19_Kit

The mind BOGGLES at what you'll be doing with the rest of the Tomcat.  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

the other half of the 1/144 Tomcat :

I had this idea (who knows wherefrom or why?) that a swept-wing aircraft should match well with a saxophone ;
in reality (if I dare say so) it came less obviously, but I somehow managed, for my series in music instruments
