Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I realize I already did some too ...

from my archive, and to compensate the PB loss, here is a little recall :

and another one, also Tophe inspired at the time :

and I have made another one which I will show soon, and still have one on my stash ...

Tophe

Thanks for posting again these marvels, that seemed lost for Humanity :-\ ;)

hi all, after being away from internet for a moment I'm back again.

So, some time ago I also discovered Tophe's P-51 Bv :

and it fired me to fetch another kit of the F_82 (I still have one left after that ...)

and make an imaginary interpretation, where the whiffing consists of going to the D version of the P-51, and augmenting visibility (it is a 3-seater) :

Lovely! Delicious! Much better than the source (of inspiration)...

excellent fitting indeed, and quite unexpectedly, as it is the rear glass of a 1/48 P-61 (!)
the rest of which was used in other projects, involving jets at the rear :

Cool!! I remember those. And yeah, it's always nice when things like that work out so well. It's like a EUREKA moment.

Once more, the name Ericr stands in gold letters in the History of Asymmetric aircraft, see my site
http://www.kristofmeunier.fr/Asymm_addition.htm (at the temporary end of it).
Tell me if the date is wrong or something.
Thanks again!

oh... my!

Now THAT would be terrifying to come swooping out of a cloud bank.  It's like the Big Bird of air pirates!
Thanks!
