Red one looks like the cargo aircraft and the blue one is strangely attractive ???

I am trying to reduce my stash a bit

funnily the appropriate width of the fuselage makes for well-working coordinated VG wings

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Why, hell yeah!  That's pretty cool right there!!!!!  I'm loving this Hustler action, seeing as how I'm trudging along with mine.

Very good Hustler & Tomcat mix!
(I am writing it here in clear because the explanation was in the topic's title, that will change soon)
Anyway congratulations!
Are the B-58 and F-14 at different scales or the same?

thanks !

I had noticed there are other Hustlers being done around : we could start a group or collection  ;)

it is the 1/72 Italeri, and the Tomcat is Airfix 1/72 as well (the rest of which will appear on this thread soon  ;D )

indeed : I have another one in preparation that will confirm this impression I expect.

And the Hustler was surprisingly small for a four-engined nuclear strike bomber. Very neat match.

But why does it remind me of the British TSR-2? That wasn't even a swing-wing. Maybe it's the crew top-loading.

Size comparisons from Wikipedia:

Hustler
  Length: 96 ft 10 in (29.5 m)
  Wingspan: 56 ft 9 in (17.3 m)
Loaded weight: 67,871 lb (30,786 kg)

TSR-2
  Length: 89 ft (27.13 m)
  Wingspan: 37.14 ft (11.32 m)
Loaded weight: 79,573 lb (36,169 kg)

Tomcat
  Length: 62 ft 9 in (19.1 m)
  Wingspan:
    Spread: 64 ft (19.55 m)
    Swept: 38 ft (11.58 m)
Loaded weight: 61,000 lb (27,700 kg)
Cheers.

Good for the remaining parts! So much better in your creative hands than in the garbage can!

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
