Naaaah, that's not a Whiff, I'm sure I've seen one of those over Salisbury Plane, but it was in green of course.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Love the twin-rotor Skyvan.

I nearly finished something similar a few years ago, but I dropped it and spoilt the paint just before the end of the GB... :banghead:

Mine had Kaman-style eggbeater blades taken from two Hueys.

a plausible whiff is sometimes the best whiff  ;D

A plausible Whiff is the BEST Whiff!

NARSES2

I'm seeing that in B.E.A. colours flying to either the Channel Islands or the Scilly's

Great build
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

thanks !

as I sometimes say, I like keeping with monochromes, but if others with more elaborate skills than mine feel inspired to make for fuller liveries on my contraptions, please do  ;)

Tophe

As far as I am concerned, I prefer your monochrome-way, Ericr: this means "it is a funny dream", without pretending "this is a true secret machine" (which may be classified as fake, wrong, bad, by realists).

#1972
a parrot & a stealth fighter, both ways reciprocally :

The red combo looks like some nasty tropical insect that could give you quite a bite. I guess it's a lot less red before it has had its first meal.  :o

By the way, love the Skyvan-copter too. Bright yellow would be a dead ringer for Aurigny Airlines' service to the Channel Isles.
Cheers.

Your F-117 gives me an idea for the Batplane made by Polar Lights.

great ! please do it ! I am glad to find inspirations in this forum, and even happier if others get inspired by my whiffing  ;)

from the old scrap box, a Vigilante front fuselage and a shell :

(it had no cockpit, so I had to find something of the right size : a reversed P-51D I think)

Tophe

Ho, I was not warned by the Notify tool of this new marvel, congratulations!
(maybe this was because the snail was inside the shell, hidden) ;)
