Ha ha! That is a true classic. An idea that occurs to every twin mustang enthusiast but only our beloved ericr would actually give us.
Cheers.

I'll bet the tail gets burrs in it, though. They won't do the trim tabs any good.
I expect that's what the thin pointy thing on the nose is, a trim tab joint cleaner-outer.
Cheers.

Wow, so elegant (and I love the aerodynamic tail!) and the performance is clearly enhanced by galloping with jet addition! ;D ;D

I can just see those being unearthed by some archaeologist in 1,000 years or so. Start a whole new argument about the ancient races religious practices  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Tophe

Wonderful! (especially the P-38 twin-boomer, of course)...
I appreciate that the propeller's diameter is reduced, not to hurt the pod/head... ;) ;D

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Not quite, the film's four years older than me.  It's a classic though and I do have it on DVD, which is considered ancient technology by my niece.  :o

I read the book first, and it's one of those rare occasions where I've enjoyed the film more.
