Lovely! Straight from the late 1940s.

I have a suspicion that I know somebody who will want that fuselage on a Lockheed Lightning.  ;D
Cheers.

Now we wait with considerable anticipation as to what will be done with the CH-53 fusekage and the Skywarriors wings and tail fethers.
Alle kunst ist umsunst wenn ein engel auf das zundloch brunzt!!

Sic biscuitus disintegratum!

Cats are not real.
They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

My thoughts ran on very similar lines!  ;D ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Cute, I like it.

For those who care about the backstory, the wing sweep was not introduced for speed but to move the trailing edge forward of the rear side windows. Both front and rear ports may be fitted with gun stations, and both were required to have an upward field of fire as well as down. The Embraer Pecari ("Peccary") did, and in some cases still does, sterling service with the armed services of several Third World countries. Shown here is the civil turbofan development (the original had turboprops), of which two prototypes were converted but it failed to attract any orders.
Cheers.

It's got folding wings AND tail too!  :o

Which kit is that, as I've never seen that mix before?

It looks VERY good though.

Snowtrooper

That looks deceivingly natural. Are you sure you didn't accidentally build a real prototype? ;)

both kits are old Revell, the A-3 being 1/83 or something like that

I kind of like the articulated wings, even if it's toy-ish, and I am looking for others : the old revell 1/72 Corsair II, or maybe 1/32 Corsair? or even Wildcat if I understood well, with a different kind of fold.

Yes.

When you first read the title, 'Jolly Green Giant and Skywarrior', your brain says 'NO WAY this will work!' and then you see the pics and it goes 'Oooooooh, that's REALLY good'

Looks great Eric.     No though about it   ;D

Chopper fuselages have IMO great scope for becoming part of conventional aircraft.  I have a number in my stash earmarked for such whiffing.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

whiffing is about going beyond the though  :o

and yes I also have a few helicopters left (including a couple of cheap Ospreys ... lots of potential, in several directions ... )
