Champion model, eric.

(This is an obscure joke. "Champion" in Northern English usage means superb or excellent, while the drummer on Coldplay's hit song "Speed of sound" was one Mike Champion. Really, I think I ought to get my coat on the way out.)
Cheers.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Are those Bearcats in the background?

I  think a couple are, but 1 or 2 look like Wildcats from the position of the undercarriage ?

But still Navy aircraft.
The X7 was, according to my very quick research, an Air Force project.  Would Air Force and Navy share airfields?
(There are also two of what look like T-33s but they were used by both services)

It could have been at Edwards AFB, or whatever it was called before it was renamed. All the US services used it way back when.
