some time ago I discovered Tophe's P-51 Bv-2 (with some other influence as well) :
and it fired me to get a kit of the F_82 (well, actually, several : wait and see ...)
and make an imaginary interpretation, where the whiffing consists of going to the D version of the P-51 :
the nose is a bit short, it comes from a He-59 ...
and I had to cheat a bit with the rear wheel, in order to have enough height for the pushing propeller  ;)
From an old model of dear Ericr, I am playing to complete my Mustang family, thanks!: <_<

The A380 and B-49 look AMAZING Ericr. Very well done.

How did you do the refuelling boom and hose on the A380 please?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

thanks, they were shown up somewhere in this thread some time ago (must be find-able using the search engine)

The boom comes from a KC135, the rest of which was used elsewhere again  ;)

NARSES2

I do like your little "Logo-Liner"  ;D  Sans logo of course  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I also discovered Tophe's P-51 Bv :
and it fired me to fetch another kit of the F_82 (I still have one left after that ...)
and make an imaginary interpretation, where the whiffing consists of going to the D version of the P-51, and augmenting visibility (it is a 3-seater) :
From this also (thanks!): <_<

Naturally my brain has already built the twin jet, swept wing F-27, probably in red (or yellow.......)  ;) ;D

Wow! I have a 1/72 X/YB-35 in the stash. Great builds, another one for the to do list.

JayBee

Absolutely lovely. Mind you it would look better in Midnight Blue with US Navy markings ! b

I can just see that in my minds eye.

Alle kunst ist umsunst wenn ein engel auf das zundloch brunzt!!

Sic biscuitus disintegratum!

Cats are not real.
They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

 ;)

you are sightly spoiling my tricks  ;D

as always, I would welcome seeing some of thoses chimeras being re-interpreted with other liveries (and modelling skills)
