Little Nellie was a Benson Gyrocopter (or Autogyro or Gyroplane, whatever you choose to call that type of aircraft) not a helicopter...

Weird! ;D
I was puzzled, seeing something familiar but not recognizing the P-38 pod (thanks for the title explaining) ;)

After reading the subject I thought it might be an OH-6 fuselage mounted on a P-38 in place of the cockpit pod. Maybe thaw in the future?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

"Little Nellie" is a Wallis WA-116 not a Bensen.

Fokker did a twin-boom pusher/puller, D.XXIII, but not trimotor  ;)

It is crying out for two more engines, though. :)
Cheers.

I have been inspired by the P-38/OH-6A mix, thanks Ericr! ;D

Here is the modern (fast) Fokker D-23 IV (with powerful Daimler-Benz engines moreover): <_<

Yeah, I realized that after logging out and couldn't be bothered logging back in to fix it. IIRC Wallis Gyro's were styled on if not direct copies of Bensen's anyhow...
