Great work , this reminds me of a kitbash I started building  using a 1z/72 C-130 with the twin booms from a C-119. I will have a rummage tomorrow and see if I have any C-119 parts as I can always alter the Heliplane.
My A.W. Argosy AEW.3 with a cushion landing system.

Just needs painting.

The just have to be the largest aircraft piston engines EVER!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

And I thought that the engines from the 1/72 Tu-142 Bear were the largest, got one in the stash.

Those are 1/48 scale Allison V-1710s on a 1/72 scale C-130, and they're piston engines, not turbo-props like the ones on the Tu-142.....................

Oddly enough I can see that being a tilt wing al la the Osprey with engines that size.  You'd have to remove the booms I suppose, but ...................
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
