Uh? Do you mean "the outer wings of mine were all scratch-built"? This would be even better: 4 outer wings would remain, and that is good for a Delanne tandem-wing version or a Gloster Gladiator II biplane version:

For the front cockpit: this is easy if you paint the canopy black without creating a cockpit Inside. I think I got on this forum the idea of black canopies (that changed my life!) from tsrJoe.

Captain Canada

Love seeing that Tri-Stang again, one of those perfect whiffs. Makes you do a double take, then makes you go " hmmmm"

And it simply looks great !

Thanks Cap'n, it was one of my more satisfying models to build, even though it was a right pain at some stages. The finished article looks EXACTLY as I'd imagined it in the first place.

I love it when a plan comes together....  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Well, somehow I missed this one, so thanks for posting the story which directed me here. FANTASTIC! Sounds like you had some grief, but it was all worth it, great job!
