Coming from you Ian, that is praise indeed, many thanks!  ;D

Of course I could re-scan the decals in 1/48 if you'd like to do one down there in Kiwi-land?  ;) ;D

No thanks my friend. Got a 1:48 Mk22/24 and some French decals that will be brought together, kicking and screaming, though...

Sadly the Jubilee Spitfire is no more.  :banghead:

I'd 'stored' it in the Projects Area in my model room while I was doing the Eagle B1 Special and the DC9 prototype, and this evening I dug into the shelves to retrieve it and it fell off the back down into the depths below. In the process of trying to get it out again I nudged the Projects shelf a bit and squashed the model flat! It's flatter than flat, even the canopy has shattered into a zillion parts, it's THAT flat!  :o

I've got more than one Airfix PR19 Spitfire of course (doesn't everyone?) and I can re-print the decals easily but I'm a tad disheartened now and it'll take a while to get the 'Jubilee' Mojo' back up and running.

Meanwhile there's only 59 un-finished projects to get on with......... <sigh>

That will be me then as I have a Fujimi PR19 so didn't bother buying the Airfix version.

That's a very precise number, but then your an Engineer so precision is to be expected. I have no idea how many started yet unfinished projects I have, and I am only including the ones where have got out of the box and parts stuck together.

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

When Mrs_PR19 and I carried out our 'census' of my Loft in Feb 2012 we got to 1000 un-built kits and gave up, but we also counted 62 models 'in build' and since then I've done some and started others (!) so I have a pretty good handle on how many I'm working on.
