Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I have bought and built quite a few modelsvit kits now, and all of them I have bought from modelsUa, simply because of the price difference, plus if you are cheeky enough, Ivan will give you a very nice discount on kits. Also, I think Modelsvit have taken the Amodel route on producing kits as they are a nightmare to build. My VVA-14 has been sat part done on my window ledge for several months now as it has fought me all the way.  :banghead: :banghead:

New in at the Big H. Not sure if these are new or just re-stocks - interesting though.

After having to put down 2 of their kits because of badly fitting parts and easily breakable parts, these kits are not for those with a dicky ticker or a short fuse. They seem to have taken over from Amodel with the crap fitting parts.

Having built two (Ye152a and Be12), I can only describe them as "enticing but difficult".   They are not for the beginner by any means.  I am still not sure I got the undercarriage on the Be12 correct but it looks right.   I spent a fortnight on that part of the kit alone, trying to figure out the instructions versus the parts.   :banghead:

The outcome was in the end worth all the effort.

I know where you are coming from, I got so far with the VVA-14, and it just annoyed the hell out of me so it has been sat on the meter cupboard for 6 months, currently building the TU-91, with a vague hope I will get it done for the soviet GB, the fit of parts and the dodgy undercarriage are being very trying, so many parts for the things it is untrue.

Modelsvit have been showing cgi pictures of their forthcoming mirage 4000, on their Facebook and web page. I think its going to be an expensive one, but hopefully they have got their badly fitting parts problem sorted. The kit is in 1/72nd scale too. I think I will still buy one and do it as the Honduras Air Force top of the range fighter.

For some reason I really, really like this idea. I look forward to seeing it!

For those on Facebook, Modelsvit have a page on there and are showing test mold pictures of their imminent 1/72nd scale Mirage 4000. The kit comes with a load of P.E and paint masks too.
