They're repopping their C-133 but this time it comes with a British Thor Ballistic Missile and trailer as cargo.

I like that idea, I hope I can afford one.

An instant Whiff too, just put roundels on the -133...........

The C-133 with Thor is around the £30 mark, which is very good for the size of it.

This damned annoying, I have already got the C-133, in it's original release.  :banghead:

For fans of large-scale WW1 aircraft kits Roden has recently released a 1/32 SPAD XIII c.1 (early) and release of the (late) variant is imminent. I've also read on the WW1AircraftModels forum a Sopwith 1-1/2 Strutter and Avro 504 are on the horizon in the same scale.

I feel this video accurately surmises my feelings on the latter aircraft.

Details on the Greyhound:

The parts breakdown of the body is like their 1/72nd scale buses, hopefully it will
fit better than those kits.

However, they screwed up the write up, talking about the Packard Clipper and not the GMC Silversides.

It looks like some serious body work no matter what. I'll call my son the auto body tech.

I do like the etched Greyhound on the side.

And it's close to 1/32 scale so I could convert one to a slot racer.  ;)

You could get a BIG motor in there fir sure!

However, they screwed up the write up, talking about the Packard Clipper and not the GMC Silversides.

I've seen that before when they've added a new kit to their site, they clearly use an existing
entry as a template and there's a lag on the correct text being inserted. Which is what they
did here, the Clipper is number 815, the Greyhound is number 816. If you look at the HTML
for the two pages you'll see that the only thing different is the image file names.
;D
They'll catch up at some point.

Hannants are listing an NB-36H Crusader as a Future Release from Roden. For those who don't know, that's the nuclear test-bed aircraft with a live reactor in the rear fuselage. :o

Two things strike me as possible whiffs with this:

1. Cross-kit it with one of the other B-36 kits to make an operational nuclear-powered bomber (yes I know the NB-36 wasn't propelled by it's nuclear plant: you'd have ot get creative).

2. Exploit the NB-36H's different cockpit to built a B-36-based airliner/transport/tanker.

Roden are based in Kyiv.  The fact that they are announcing ANYTHING is amazing.  Also looks like a 1/144 Rivet Joint.  Quite appropriate I'd say.  After losing their box artist in the war it's nice to see then announcing new kits already.

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

There's an announcement on the Hannants front page to the effect that some Ukrainian companies are now working again. I guess with the focus of the war shifting to the east, normal life (and earning foreign currency) has to go on.

really tempting to get one and put it in RAF markings, or to really whif-out and replace the Thor with a Blue Streak.
