Maybe even a Super? That would be even better.

Jeepers, I hate to think how much they weigh!  :o

I've the Magna one and it's heavy!  Never got any further than some basic cleanup and test fitting.

You can always try to find an Airways vacuform, got one of those and was able to pick up a TwoSix decal sheet, the one with the all black tail
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

The Sec. of my local model club has built one, it's HUGE, too big for my shelves, which is why I model my airliners in 1/144.

They're doing a Rolls Royce armoured car in 1/72, might have to have one.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

In plastic? That'd be a lot better than the white metal Merlin one, it's so heavy it bends its own rear axle!  :o

Just read in AMW that the 1/144th C-119 has unused gatlings on the sprues, so presumably an AC-119K is on the card at some point, plus those 1/114th gatlings will be very nice spare parts for anyone contemplating their own whiffy gunship.

Yep:

Also, Presidential Jetstar in 1/144th (those decals could always find their way onto something else):

And a very expensive 1/72nd bus (what is Roden's obsession with these 1930s/40s German buses (not that I disapprove, mind)):

Good extras for dioramas, but they were also co-opted for military use.  I'm guessing that they come in useful for the railway modellers too.

That Vomag is a fairly big so partly justifying it's pircetag.  Roden have also released the flak version so I guess they're getting as much mileage out of the sprues as possible.  I forgot to post this when I first saw it, I instantly thought of you Harold as it seems perfect as retro moon-buggy!

IIRC these were Hitlers personal flak, following him around Germany so not many were built?  Makes them perfect whiff material, all sorts of other things could be mounted on them.

Ah, cheers Mossie: I saw the flakwagon when it came out, but didn't make the connection with the bus - doh!

Alternative scenario: get a bus and a flakwagon and paint them both in bus company colours, with one of two rationales:

1. Sensible option : put a crane and a winch on the flakwagon chassis and make it a bus company recovery vehicle

2. Silly option : leave the '88 (or a quad 20mm) on the flakwagon and have it as an armed bus escort, for the rougher areas of town.

....Or hide the 88 inside the bus body with some fold down flaps and you've got a Q-bus.........  ;D

What a cool bus model ! Love the idea of using it as a Q bus ! The extra gun bits in the 119 kit is a nice touch a well.

The bus is begging to be cut right down, painted yellow and decaled as the Hitler Youth "short bus" (they were the special kids after all...)

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

That'll be a 'K-Bus' then. (Kurzbus)  ;D

We'll have a whole alphabet of them soon.  ;D
