By, Douglas Glenn, found on the Facebook Scale Modellers page.

"Just finished this up last week. (Despite the dates on the photos.) I felt I owed a friend a "Thank You". He is a fan of both Star Wars and NASCAR. I found out from his wife that his favourite driver is Jeff Gordon. So I did a mashup of the two. He said it is going in his display case right in with his die-cast NASCAR collection."

Racing A-Wing... but, of course!  Why didn't anyone think of this earlier? It's so obvious... now!
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Another find/build that confirms my impression that we need a Racing GB at some time soon?

Great and colorful build, never expected Jeff Gordon to be in league with The Force, but that might explain his NASCAR titles?  ;)

TheChronicOne

Hey, a racing themed GB sounds pretty cool indeed!! I've collected up quite a bit of racin' transfers and have been wanting to use 'em on something.

What if someone used an SR-71 as an Alclad testbed?"

Found on Facebook Scaled Modellers page.

A neat what if and a handy reference in one.

LOL, very cool - and useful, too!

TheChronicOne

Found this on the E.A.M. Everything About Modeling And Other Hobbies page.

No known source or owner but it's definitely a whif model..

Neato burrito, man!! If I can ascertain more about it I'll try to remember to post.

Would be marching to the beat of his own drum, if he didn't detest marching to any drumbeat at all so much.

With a Tu-16 as a carrier, I'd rather place it in China?
