A little bit related on youtube: a functioning Mauser C96 pistol modified to replicate Han Solo's blaster (and a bit of fun thrown in)

There's still a lot of room for improvements: the tank could be white and bear Imperial insignia...  ;)

...and have legs.

Well, that was another thought, but I think that this would strethc the resources a little. Even though it would add more style.  ;D

Considering the transporter in Rogue One was tracked, I'd think there are multiple schools of thought for the Imperiousal forces.

Love it!

I don't give much for the fatigue life of the tail assembly with those props THAT close though.......

Apart from the position of the props it looks strangely plausible, and no I haven't been drinking  ;D

If it was me, I'd remove the tail turret or replace with a remote controlled one and bring the tail assembly forward so it is in front of the engines.

;D ;D Agreed on all counts, fellas.  It's something else, alright. :o  Very cool though and a "why didn't I think of that."

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Not just the tail assembly, the entire rear fuselage including the engine mounts, and
prop resonance would be horrendous.

Cool notion, questionable design execution.

Perhaps, buried engines with outrigger pushers mounted further forward on the aft fuselage,
similar to this undeveloped NAA project.

Me likey.
It has a bit of a Star Wars vibe about it IMO.  Particularly about the nose.

Have to agree. The nose is very attack helicopter-ish and the way it's shown as a cutaway makes the front look a little insect like to me ?

I would be rather concerned about the field of fire for the upper gunner.
