There is that - but there is something distinctly Star Wars about it, too, in addition to the Rebel Alliance(ish) roundels and nose art.

I like that, too, even though it's also too much "unfinished P-38" for my personal taste. But the concept is great.

I love it! I was thinking about why so many people do great whiffs using P-38s but, then again, the P-38 looks like a whiff to start with!

Fred, there is a photo somewhere - maybe even here - of a single-boom, single engined P-38 based Drone with fixed landing gear.

That could work as a starting point, and though you wouldn't necessarily have the Turbosupercharger, it would still spank along nicely, given a decent Donk.

Turns out I'm not the only one to throw an airliner livery on a Hercules! This was a "lucky" find as it was actually a comment on a thread that had nothing to do with built models or what-if.
