Fantastic.
I recognised the crossed hammers but that still didn't prepare me for the brickwork.

At first I didn't "see it" either then it hit me when I saw the bricks! (heh)

Very creative....  it opens up interesting possibilities regarding such things as album covers. I can imagine a Metallica "Master of Puppet" scheme, for instance.

Any how.... I am currently watching a behemoth develop... this is a yet to be completed A-380.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Yeah, it's not the easiest task making the A-380 look good but this guy is doing a fine job of it. Of course... that Mexicana scheme is so nice it could dang near make anything look good. I have a DC-10 kit around here somewhere and that's what it is and it might be the coolest looking DC-10 I've seen.

The A380 is too short to look really good, but it's almost impossible to lengthen one. There just isn't a parallel section anywhere that hasn't got a lump of that socking great wing in the way.  :banghead:

Don't ask me how I know this......................
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

To make it appear longer, I guess you could shorten the win..... never mind.

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

That A-380 is by Jose Velazquez via Facebook, just for our note taking...      I just haven't done a "proper" post for it yet as he isn't finished. I screwed up and neglected to give credit. THAT SAID.... wow... I saw an update today, turns out ol boy is lighting it. Interior lights done so far. It's going to be glorious!

Anyway... speaking of airliners. Here's another I've had in my back pocket for awhile. This is highly amusing.....

That's some exceptional paint job he's done there!

Yeah, dude! I was impressed. Never thought I'd see an airliner give the armor guys a run for their money in the magnitude and quality of weathering!

Great finish on the A320. Would certainly look good in a boneyard diorama!

I have no visual proof, since I am not a facebook member, but I received the information that, somewhere, my Red Arrows Harrier (at least pics, and I suspect that the background story was again copied without comment that it has just been made up) must have popped up recently and taken for a serious historical occurrence.

DogfighterZen

I did see a Red Arrows Harrier on FB a couple of days ago, on "The greatest planes that never were" IIRC... I only remember one pic and the OP only had a short sentence like: " Indeed a never was..." Not sure if it was the same post.
I hate it when people take someone else's work and use at their own will without at least saying who made it... And i have, along with other members of this forum, called out on people using your stuff on the many aviation pages on FB. I have seen some where they include the links to your flickr page and say it's not theirs but the majority of the times, it's just using without permission or credit... :banghead:

Ah, found it, thanks to your description: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=593088437979816&set=gm.10158331632194784&type=3&theater&ifg=1

But I am also not certain whether this is the actualy post or not - I think it must be another, older one. Also lacking a source info, though.
