Quote from: zenrat on March 01, 2024, 01:32:56 AMYou say that like it's a bad thing.  :-\

I didn't say anything of the kind... either way, good or bad...  ;)

There is, IIRC, a Cathedral conversion for one of the 'Overpriced Gaming System''s super-heavy tanks... Beermonster will likely know more, possibly even be able to quote chapter and verse... yeah, tiring week here... sorry/not sorry.

That should have been a more smiley smiley.  Sorry.
I take that sort of comment as the complement it is intended to be.   ;)

This conversation has reminded me of the card buildings I used to build for model railway.  I should be able to get a Church.
And possibly a Pub...

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

S'all good, I wasn't taking offence... or a gate, or a small potting shed either...  ;D

It was meant as a compliment, yes.

Nothing wrong with card models; as-is, or as templates...

Like this?

This one's a modified N Gauge Metcalfe Models card kit but they do it in 00 as well, which is almost 1/72.

We have 3-4 pubs on that layout too, but they're all scratchbuilt.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I see something XB-70 Valkyrie in it.
Checking the XB-70 on Wikipedia.... there was NAA's original proposal for Weapon System 110A:

It looks like it stopped to fast and hard but the cockpit kept going   :o
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .

Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Don't know about the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye in the link but the link now goes to a "F-15C Tomcat", which is somewhat confusing.

Kinda, but especially as it seems to actually be an F-15C, but is certainly not a Tomcat.
