Absolutely it does. At first I thought it was The Chaos' front room.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

It very well could be a prop from ye olden days of pre-CGI real-world builds.

And those people fixing up Wonder Woman's invisible jet?  I hear the different shifts keep pulling pranks by moving it around and not telling the next group.
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Full sized prop used in The Rise of  Skywalker in 2019. It was given to the Smithsonian in 2021 and has been on display since 2022 outside of the Einstein planetarium. The image is of when it was being checked over for damage after
being shipped to DC.

Full-sized props, and models, are used to a greater extent than people realize and practical effects have been making a comeback over the last few years. Partly because of younger directors who aren't wedded to using CGI for everything and prefer the look and feel of practical effects.

From a page named British Heritage Aircraft. Well, it's definitely an aircraft, so I guess 1 out of 3 ain't bad.

Has a 'luft' aspect about it, but not totally. Does look kind of cool. But, speaking of cool, how cool would the engine stay with the silly little amount of air that would get into that tiny rad scoop and around the prop spinner?
