Ok, know I could have put this someplace else but have seen a lot of neat stuff on Facebook so figured I would start this.

This one just needed to be done.

Yep, that is indeed Laputa The  Castle In The Sky; now where are the ornithopters? Chita and Pozu are somewhere in that lot! That is very imaginative work. Thanks very much for sharing, that is a real engineering project!

You're not kidding! What an outstanding job he made of that!  ;D :thumbsup: :bow:

I can't figure out which outer wings he used, they look too 'clean' to be standard U-2 wings, but they certainly look the business.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Not sure how to trawl there.  I have signed up for some sites and get most of these off their updates.  The ones I am on are IPMS/USA, IPMS/UK and Diorama Dreams.
If you search plastic models (or model airplanes, etc) I am sure you will get all kinds of matches but you have to wander through their albums to see what is going on.

Hope that helps and if you find any good ones, let me know.
