For some reason or other, I'm kinda partial to this one. 
If anyone's interested, the engine pods I used are from an An-32, but I think they were eye-balled to look about right, not to scale.

A smaller version would be like the Argentine Pucrara.

Some of the original concept contenders to the A-9 and A-10 were turboprops, some not unlike the Pucará...

On the turbo A-10 once the turbo fan engines are removed from behind the wing and turboprops installed in front of the wing there would be some serious CG issues. Moving the wing forward would cure that. Of course the design looks pretty cool as is!

Don't know about russian hippies but the story behind the flowery MiG-3 is about Soviet female combat pilots (which isn't a whif idea in itself).

I wonder what engine pods you'd need... the A-10 is a pretty big bird - maybe a pair from a P-3...?

I'm not keen on "True Fire" flames.  I prefer the "traditional" 50's/60's hot rod style.  Skillfull bit of painting though.

Ya the old school flames are cooler for sure, but that paint work is awesome !
