Anyone notice the P-47H in the background...  ;)

You can even make out the foamed styrene in the air outlets on the flanks!

Maybe someone should point it out on Deviantart....

In Asia, people say "Copy is the highest form of flattery". I take it like that, even though I tried to contact the Mr. Bolyakov - but you have to be registered there, and that was IMHO not worthwhile the effort. But asking beforehand would have been nice, or some kind of credit, next to the model...

Canard B-29, or Tu-4 as it has Russian stars.

Hey those are my models. The Tu-4 was build for the Test & Experimental GB in 2011. You can read more about it here.

The FW Flitzer was one I build about the same time just for fun.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

I guess giving credit is optional on facebook. At least say if you spotted it at a show or something.

Whoever pinned it probably saw it on our local club Facebook page.

I'm sure they are thinking that they are sharing something they found and thought was really cool looking. It is a compliment in a way in that someone thought it was good enough to tell others about.
I guess we should do like painters and work our names into the paint job.

The curse of the WWW... property rights will be the demise of everything. I mean, things ARE posted to be seen, but giving credit to the original source won't hurt - esp. if the poster does not do anything to hint at the fact that it is not his/her original work.

zenrat

I write my name inside my builds in texter.  If you see a build at a show you think is one of mine just break it open to find out... ;D

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

And read (for fanfiction authors).  But I usually try to attribute where I got the idea from.  Or in the case of one story, actually get permission from another fanfic author to use his plot thread.  He was tickled pink about that.
