Can't see 'em anyway, you have to be an FB member for it, and there's NO way I'll do that.

With you on that one, mate! :thumbsup:

hey dont shoot the messenger, lol, i was just posting up some links of possible interest on the page for Facebook sourced material, true its not everyones 'cup of tea' (il admit im a relative newcomer to the phenomenon) but iv found its a handy way to share information with like minded colleagues  :thumbsup:
there are various site pages in there ranging from the IPMS. pages (some of which are stifilingly boring), through to 'fan pages' (some of them actually a brilliant resource) for individual aircraft types such as eg. the Canberra, Spitfire or Me.109 (i dont recommend the TSR.2 one tho unless you prescribe to a certain viewpoint not based upon this centurys researches !) there are also 'closed' invite only groups which again are a good resource for sharing information on what can be quite rarified subjects  :wacko: i guess my way of looking at it is like any other reference resource, there are a few grains amongst the chaff, part of the fun is winnowing it out

:cheers: Joe

hey dont shoot the messenger, lol,

I don't think that this was the intention. It's just the annoying fact that you can only have access to the FB "life" when you are registered (same with Pinterst), and there are many good reasons NOT to hand over anything of your private life just for the sake of having a glimpse at some pics.  ;)

I don't use facebook socially so I have entered minimal details, FB hounds me for them constantly but I don't have to add things like location or where I went to school etc... I use it simply to gain aviation info from around the globe, and the occasional giggle. Don't need to add your life to it to use it.

:cheers:

I refuse having anything to do with FB and suchlike, but what I do with possibly spamming sites is to give FALSE minimal details  ;D , surely no my own, and I have a few free email addresses to use for registering, to avoid spams in the "official" one.

I have a presence but I go there rarely and have trained my e-mail to direct all their nagging missives to the spam folder.
It allows people I may wish to reconnect to to find me.  So far running at about 1 every 2 years.
I have my location set as somewhere in Russia so all the pop up ads are in a totally foreign alphabet and are so much less irritating.

That P-38 looks like one of Tophe's.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I think it looks like a modern Bf110 in the pics, but not in the 3-view.

Definitely.  ::and begins contemplating::

Interesting. Never heard of that late 60ies-project.

I hate to think how low it'd have to be in order for the strafing run to be effective... or maybe it's a reverse 'Schrage Muzik' installation... and the same comment applies...  :blink:
