I like this, I'd build it if I had appropriately sized Hawkeye and Falcon kits.

I've got an entire 1/72 Hawkeye sitting in the shed, unfortunately minus the engines which ended up on my C-119T.

That would make some people's hair curl! Making this work in 3D would be all about picking the right scale.

The SU-34 is one of my favourite modern Russian jets, I have built 2 and got one in the stash that will be armed with a scratch built Moskitt missile to go on it's centre lline. That one looks great in black.

Is it really whiffy?  :o  Almost looks like the current Russian Air Force livery...?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Chris.

Agree with both sentiments. The Su-34 has a very purposefull look about it
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Seeing as how it is fictional, I'd say so.  There are planes all over this site that actually exist yet are painted up in alternate colors or as something from a fictional universe and everyone seems OK with it.  That said, I do recall seeing some russian something or painted in this same scheme, as well, and it was sure purdy!

I'm amazed the darn thing can get airborne with that amount of hardware hung underneath!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

;D ;D   LOL   Probably has to take off with 10% fuel and then hit a tanker a couple miles out.

So...
2xKh-31P/AS-17 Krypton á 600 kg = 1200 kg (I assume they are ARM's instead of ASM's since there are bombs on board)
3xKAB-1500L á 1500 kg = 4500 kg
2xKh-29L/AS-14 Kedge á 660 kg = 1320 kg
2xR-77-1/AA-12 Adder á 190 kg = 380 kg
Total 7400 kg (16300 lbs) not including launch rails

Su-34 empty weight is 22 500 kg, MTOW 45 100 kg. That leaves 22 600 kg for fuel and weapons, so in this case 15 200 kg (less the pylons' weight) for fuel (plus ammo for the gun, pilots and their gear, hydraulic fluids, etc.). Max internal fuel is however actually only 12 100 kg, so actually it could carry even heavier load (since the other items hardly weigh three tons). ;D Yes, it is a beast of a jet.
