Aint they neat??   Took me a second to realize but they're both different birds!

Literal "egg planes."  If I ever decorate eggs again this will be how I do it.

Does the small one fit inside the larger one?

They're Russian, of COURSE they do.  ;D ;D ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Yeah, dude! That's what I was thinking.... they actually did some nice work and put in some effort on those! I sure wouldn't let any kids have 'em or anyone crack them open. lol

Hot off the press... dude just replied to a comment of mine about "whif" with his build.

Howard Markel:  " I hear ya 'bout "what if"s. They can be lots of fun and stretch ones imagination.
Here's a1//48 Modelcraft F-82 modified into an Unlimited Gold class Reno Racer.
The kit is I'll fitting and would have required lots of filler, sanding. Figured why not go nuts and apply a bit of hot rod to it.
Researched the mods done with the P-51 racers and applied to twin fuselage."

This looks very cool - also the livery. IIRC there was even a twin fuselage design for a racer/record breaker in the Eighties. Not certain if it was a Rutan design, I remember that it even had slightly forward-swept wings and was much smaller/lighter than a Mustang- but the overall layout was similar. Very cool - and colorful - build.

Pondracer. Didn't it also crash?

That's a gorgeous paintjob.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Absolutely  I'd say it was stupendous but there's something about the prop's that doesn't sit right with me for some reason ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Yes, the same impression I had. It looks like the left fuselage (the one with the cockpit) propeller has the blades leading edge backward. (I don't know how to explain better, sorry )
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.
